I have a link to a (password-protected) references list on my website.

In the interest of respecting the time of those that have agreed to serve as references for me, I ask the following of any prospective clients: Please only ask for, or contact, the references if you are serious about working with me. 

Ideally, we would already have a tentative agreement in place. But if not, please reserve this for the end of your evaluation process.
