Frequently Asked Question
As a writer specializing in business ghostwriting, I forego the right to have most of my writing attributed (or 'bylined') to me.
However, those considering working with me are naturally interested to see samples of work which I have done for other clients. For that reason, it's important for me to share some examples of past work with prospective clients.
Therefore, according to my standard terms and conditions, I reserve the right to share written work privately with prospective clients.
In practice, I usually do this:
- Directly, by email: linking to client-bylined work or sharing files.
- Giving them access to a Google Drive share.
- Giving them access to a password-protected portfolio.
However, if this does not work for you or your company, I have devised a pretty simple opt-out mechanism: complete this client portfolio waiver.
Needless to say, if the contract/NDA comes from your end (the client), then I will naturally honor whatever it says and that document supersedes any of my own documentation.
